Associate Accountant

CH Revenue Management Solutions (CHRMS) is seeking an Accounting Associate to join its growing team. CHRMS represents out-of-network surgeons throughout the United States in the claim reimbursement cycle, from medical billing through appeals, including claims through the arbitration process under Federal and State laws(IDR). Our team is comprised of more than 50 professional medical billers, coders, insurance professionals, and industry experts. As the Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, accurately tracking transactions, and reconciling Company bank accounts for the Company’s IDR group. Your primary duties will include recording financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and generating detailed financial reports related to the IDR process.

This is a full-time in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping processes for the IDR group including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
    • Reconcile all bank accounts.
    • Enter accounts receivable invoices and payments.
    • Enter accounts payable invoices.
    • Prepare vendor payments.
    • Print month end accounts payable and accounts receivable reports
    • Prepare journal entries and adjustments, detailed reconciliations and reports
    • Research, track, and resolve fee discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.
    • Provide general support to the Director of Finance, as necessary.
    • Perform miscellaneous financial and operational analysis.
    • Regularly use Company software for financial tracking and reporting
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years’ work experience in bookkeeping/accounting function.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Starting at $62,000 with great benefits
